Symposiums being held in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanazia

East Africa Symposiums

In 2019, Mark trained the above pastors and teachers in Bible Study techniques. This was an intensive course on how to properly study and handle the Word of God. These selected pastors and teachers had attended all of the Symposiums Mark taught over the past years and after this training were commissioned to teach Symposiums in their communities.

The lockdowns were an attempt to stop these types of gatherings and thus eliminate sound Bible teaching. But ... even though Mark was not able to travel to Africa, Pastor David from Uganda and Pastor Maurice from Kenya were not deterred. They took the initiative and are holding Symposiums throughout East Africa.

Here are the highlights of what is happening:
Pastor David:

  • Symposiums scheduled in 5 locations in Uganda
  • Teaching 3 Books of the Bible: Galatians, James, Ephesians
  • Seven (7) pastors teaching - trained in Bible Study methods

Pastor Maurice:

  • Symposiums in 9 locations in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania
  • Over 800 people were taught the book of 1 John
  • Total workbooks provided = 550

"We are blessed having such material as the jBM workbooks and the training has equipped us with full knowledge and revelation. I have grasped the vision and passion of helping the rural pastors with training now available through jBM."
"The challenge are the many districts in different regions. I have set a target to teach 1000 jBM students the right doctrine using the jBM workbooks."
Pastor Ledrick Richard Balikalaba

Support the travel and printing of notebooks for the continuing Symposiums. The target is 50 workbooks (@$7.00/workbook) per location x 5 locations x 3 books of the Bible + $200 transportation x 3 locations ~$6,000 needed for these Symposiums in September - November 2022.
